All the Arts for All the kids is dedicated to developing, sustaining, and supporting the arts as an intrinsic part of every child’s education. Fullerton Sunrise Rotary has been a supporter for over 15 years, including funding one of the original “Arts Buses”. Our support includes significant annual monetary contributions to ensure this wonderful program continues to bring the arts to each Fullerton elementary student.
Current Projects
All the Arts for All the Kids
Fullerton Museum Center
The Fullerton Museum Center, in addition to its central role as a promoter of Art in our community, provides art and cultural programs for children. Our club is a proud supporter of the Project Discovery School Tours, which allows every child in Fullerton a free guided tour of exhibits at the Fullerton Museum Center with their class. They annually serve over 6,000 children per year.
Dictionary Distribution
For several years, FSR has annually presented more than 400 fifth graders who attend Woodcrest, Richman, Commonwealth, Raymond, Orangethorpe and Valencia Park Elementary School with their own copy of a “Student’s Dictionary and Gazetteer”. We visit each school conducting a formal ceremony at which each student receives their copy of this dictionary that assist them in becoming good writers, active readers, creative thinkers and resourceful learners. This is something that each student will be able to write their own name in and carry with them through their school experience.
